This model was built from test shots of M3 Halftrack, which I received from Dragon Models many months before the kit was actually released. I modified parts to represent the early vehicle. I used Hussar front wheels, suitable for the prototype halftrack and Archer Fine Transfers "Surface Details" decals to add non-skid pattern to floor boards, missing from the kit. I also used Archer dry transfers for registration numbers, dashboard placards and dial faces.
